first time customers

  • To send your first order, create a free ZenBoxed account online– it takes less than 30 seconds! Then head to one of the lockers in your building and stash your stuff inside. You don’t need a bag, you don’t need a tag, you don’t need anything! Just throw ‘em on in there. Then shut the locker door, press C followed by any 4-digits and 0╖.
    Use the APP (iPhone, Android) or log into your ZenBoxed account online to send us your order information. Click “Place an Order.” Choose the locker number your items are in, the service you’d like done, and include any notes about your order. Click the submit button.
    Get ready to zen! Go about your business while we scrub your duds and run your errands. We’ll send you emails when we pick up, inventory, and return your items.

  • Orders from clients with lockers in their building are picked up and dropped between 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.  

    Orders are dropped off one day after pick-up.  Home deliveries will receive their orders two days following pick-up.

    Rush options are available for extra charge.

  • There are no fees to use ZenBoxed – pricing is simple and direct, and you only pay for what is put into the locker.

  • ZenBoxed accepts special requests such as laundry detergent preferences, notes about specific stains, various shipping methods, and more. In order to leave instructions on your order, make sure to place the order by web or APP ((iPhone, Android).

    Our Client Success Pros will read your notes, then clean and carry out your order according to your preferences. If there is any confusion about the note, we will call to confirm your preferences. You can have peace of mind knowing your items are well cared for.

  • We will text and email you once your order is ready. Your notification will contain the locker number your order is in along with the 4-digits necessary to open the locker. Notifications are direct and immediate so you can live a zen life.

  • Absolutely! Stash your items into any unlocked locker, then lock the lock with any 4-digits. We know where your items are based on the order info you send via APP, web, or text.

  • When it comes to placing a ZenBoxed order, there’s no need to disrupt your routine. Use whatever device is handy–smartphone or computer– to place an order.

  • Absolutely.  You may request a home pick up and delivery through our website, mobile APP (iPhone, Android), or by calling 800 ZBOX(9269).

    If you would like a locker for your location, click on request location and we will work to get lockers installed in your building at no cost!

     

  • As soon as your order is picked up you will receive an itemised receipt via email detailing your items and requesting payment. Simply login to the website or APP (iPhone, Android), select your order and pay with your credit/debit card either online or during home deliveries.

    Cash is accepted only during home deliveries. If you select the convenient automatic payment option, we will automatically charge your card for all future orders.

  • Absolutely! Remember, only you and ZenBoxed can open your locker. Your 4-digit pin keeps items secure, so you can have peace of mind that your clothes and items are safe.

  • The first time you place an order with us, use any old bag for your items. We’ll return your order in a personalized ZenBoxed laundry bag. This bag is yours to keep. Each time we receive laundry in your bag, we will know it’s from you. If we notice that your bag is getting worn, we will replace it automatically for you.

  • Absolutely! ZenBoxed uses Cybersource technology, the premier online payment processor. ZenBoxed never stores your credit card information or charges your card. All credit card processing is handled through Cybersource, and ZenBoxed has absolutely no trace of your credit card number anywhere in our system.

    ZenBoxed uses NBAD’s payment platform which was voted the safest bank in the region.

  • Our turnaround time is next business day for any orders dropped off by 12:00 pm. You will receive an email confirmation when your items are picked up and delivered.
    If you did not receive an email with an itemised receipt, we either did not pick up your order, or we picked it up and did not know it was yours.  This usually happens if you forget to place an order by app, web, or if you enter the incorrect locker number.

 Don’t worry!  We will have this straightened out in no time.  Just call customer service at 800 ZBOX (9269), let us know your name, locker number, and contact info and we’ll have your order returned back to your locker quickly.

  • Just place your items in any old bag and indicate what kind of service for your clothes you want for each bag (“cleaning” or “ironing”) by either leaving a note in the bag or using the notes section when placing your order through the ZenBoxed website or APP (iPhone, Android). 

 After you have completed your first laundry cycle, your custom ZenBoxed bags will be provided to you along with your clean clothes.

  • The blue bag is labeled “Laundry / Dry Cleaning.” All clothes in this bag will be cleaned and ironed. Don’t worry about deciding what type of cleaning to use for each of your garments. Our experienced fabric specialists will do that for you. We know if a particular garment should be washed, hand washed or dry-cleaned.

    The green bag is for the other services, such as ironing only, alterations, or shoe therapy.

  • Are you a business or a retailer with a great location to host our lockers?  We are always on the lookout for sites close to where people live, shop, work, and commute.  Can you think of a location?  Are you interested or know someone who might be?  We will give you AED 500 if you find us a site!

subscription plans

  • Most individuals typically use about AED 200 to AED 500 worth of services a month. If the plan you initially selected does not suit your needs, you can change your plan at any time. The new plan will take effect as soon as your current plan expires.

  • No problem! You can still select any upgrades you like on the preferences page.

  • No problem! Should your usage exceed the amount of your plan, our system will automatically renew your current plan and your available credits will be replenished based on your plan.

  • You can check your available balance on your zenboxed account (website) and click “Everything Plans”. It will also show in every invoice you received that was generated by us.

  • It will only start if you placed an order and it will expire 30 days prior to it.

  • At the end of the monthly subscription period, your plan will automatically be renewed and billed for an additional subscription term of 30 days. All remaining credits from the previous month will not be carried over.

  • All orders above AED 50 are free, order below AED 50 have a nominal AED 5 delivery fee.

  • Sorry, but no refunds will be issued for partially or completely unused subscription plans.

  • Your monthly subscription plan will automatically renew at 11:59 PM on the end date of your plan. To cancel the plan, click on the button saying “Turn Off Automatic Renewal” in your zenboxed account (Website version) or you can directly contact us from our different channels.

  • Yes, our subscription plan prices are VAT inclusive.

  • The subscription plan will last every 30 days. Once it reached the date of expiration, it will be renewed automatically.

  • Subscription plans cover the cost of services for dry clean, laundry, pressing, alteration, gadget repair, shoe and bag therapy, home cleaning and wash all you can.

  • If you would like to change your credit card, you can go to “My Preferences.” Select the “Credit Card” tab and enter your new credit card information.  It’s as easy as zen!

  • Since we provide quick service, we recommend that you wait to place your clothes in the locker until you know you will be able to pick them up.  Your neighbors will thank you for keeping the lockers open for others to use, plus it helps to keep our prices low.

  • ZenBoxed adjusts our pick up schedule based on the volume of orders.  We will pick up and drop up as many times a day as we need to in order to ensure locker availability for all of our clients.

    If we find that a location is constantly full, we will work to add another locker, providing zen for all!

  • Our lockers are designed to hold one to two weeks worth of laundry.  If you can not fit all of your laundry into one locker then feel free to use two lockers.

  • We take every precaution to ensure your items are not damaged or lost. In the rare circumstance that something does happen, we have a very fair claims policy.  To view all of our terms and conditions, click here.

  • We’re sorry to see you go.  We can’t reuse the bags for other customers, so they are yours to keep.  Please make sure to destroy the tags on the bags so that no one else can use your account.

  • Well, ZenBoxed isn’t open 24 hours– our lockers are. You see, our lockers are available any time of the day or night. Just pick an empty one and drop your clothes inside! You can place an order anytime, too.

    Our office is open during normal business hours, so you can give us a call at 800 ZBOX (9269) to chat or ask questions about your order.  We’re always free to talk zen.

  • No. If you decide to place your order online, first put your clothes in the locker. Then, include the locker number your items are in when placing your order via APP (iPhone, Android) or web.

  • If you’re a first time client, you don’t need a special bag!  Just place your clothes in any old bag.  Make sure to include written instructions about how you want your clothes to be processed.  When we return your clothes, you’ll find them in a branded ZenBoxed bag.  Our gift to you!

  • You do not – when we return your clothes, we send an email and text with the new locker number and PIN so you can retrieve your items with ease.

 
 

zen laundry

  • Absolutely not. Washing clothes is our zen, and we believe every order should be washed separately.

  • For our locker customers, we will return your clean laundry the next day (between 12pm – 4pm for locker deliveries and 3pm-11pm for home deliveries).  For drop offs made on Thursday, your items will be returned on Saturday. For our home pick up customers we will return your clean laundry within 2 days.  We have an express option for next day delivery if necessary but extra charges apply.

  • Most of the time, but there are exceptions where your clothes might be returned in a different locker or via home delivery.  For example, if you have a Kandura or a long dress, your clothes need to be returned using our large lockers or through home delivery to avoid any wrinkles or folds.

  • This is no problem, so retain your zen! Just log into your online account and click “Active Cycles” to change your delivery method to home. Our customer service team will call you to set a delivery date.

    You may also leave your clothes in the locker. Our standard procedure is to retrieve clothes still in a locker by 4 pm the day after they have been delivered.  We will call or email to schedule another delivery time.

  • Yes, we can. You may request a home pick up & delivery through our website, mobile APP (iPhone, Android) or you can just call 800 ZBOX. You can use our mobile APP or website to conveniently choose from a wide range of pick up and delivery options, manage your account and settle your bills.

  • As a member you can login to your account and set your general preferences online or on our mobile APP (iPhone, Android). This is where you tell us how you like your packing (fold vs hang) or if you like starch on your shirts, hand wash requests etc. We will follow the preferences you set (if you have any) with every wash. Don’t worry about telling us about stains, its our job to find them and remove them.

  • If during our pre-wash inspection we find a garment with significant damage, that garment will be separated from the rest of your laundry cycle and will be placed on hold until we contact you to get further instructions on whether to proceed with cleaning that particular garment or not. If we are unable to reach you in time, we will go ahead and process your garments with care. In the very rare event that the damage occurs in our facility, we will contact you to take responsibility for our mistake or you can contact us within 10 days to file your claim. You should know that compared to the rest of the market we put our money behind our skills and offer you a zenboxed credit note of 5 times of the cost of the laundry for damaged or lost items.

  • Bring your shoes to a ZenBoxed locker location. Stash your items in a locker and lock the locker by pressing C, followed by a 4-digit PIN and then 0╖ .  Send your order by logging into to your account online or through the APP or web, clicking on “Place a New Order,” and entering your locker number.  Click the appropriate services box and insert any specific instructions you have for your items in the “Notes” section.

     

  • We would love to hear more about your shoe therapy preferences!  When you are placing an order, there is a section for notes and special instructions.

    If you’d like more information about how we will clean a specific shoe, send us an email getzen@ZenBoxed.com, and let us know what type of shoes you need cleaned.  We will respond immediately with a price quote

  • The turnaround time is 2 to 3 days; however, turnaround can be longer if shoes are dropped off on Thursday or Friday.

  • We will return your shoes to a locker and send you a text and email notifying you that they are ready to be picked up.

 
 

zen rental

  • You can rent a guest bed for 1-7 nights.  Simply select the number of nights when placing your order.  There is a minimum of two nights rental.

  • Depending on your location, the guest bed can be collected from either our lockers in the building, or delivered to your home.

  • Guest bed rental can be pre-booked, and we advise all guest bed rentals be booked in advance due to high demand. Booking in advance ensures the bed is available when you need it, giving you peace of mind to zen before guests arrive.

  • To place your order simply log into your account, select the size of the bed required and the number of nights. Collect and return the bed to a locker in the building or to your building’s reception or concierge desk.

 
 

zen alterations

  • Simply note or pin the area of the item that needs to be altered, drop the item in the locker, lock it by pressing the key C, followed by a 4-digit PIN and 0╖, and place an order.

    Placing an order is simple: Login to your online ZenBoxed account and select Repairs and Alterations.  Use the notes section to tell us what alterations are required.  If we have any questions we will call you before carrying out any work.

 
 

zen shipping

  • To get a quote, simply send us an email with the relevant details (shipping destination) and a photo of the item. Alternatively, contact us on 800 XBOX (9269).

  • You don’t have to!  We’ll do it for you at no extra cost.  If you choose to do the packing yourself, we’ll provide you with the packaging material at no cost, as well.

  • When you place your order we hold a small deposit, then deliver boxes and other free packaging material according to your needs. These will be delivered to a locker in the building. If they are too large to fit a locker will be delivered to your apartment. As always, you will be notified of the delivery by text and email.

  • Once you have packed all your items and they are ready for collection simply confirm your collection date online or by contacting us.  Once final payment is made we will confirm whether you can drop your boxes into a locker in the building or if we should collect your boxes from your home or office.

  • Our door-to-port service includes free delivery of our boxes and packing materials, collection, UAE customs formalities, all UAE port handling charges and shipment to arrival destination port or airport.  The door-to-door service also includes destination customs clearance, handling and de-consolidation charges, delivery to kerbside at residence and GST (if applicable).

  • There are a few things you need to think about when selecting the service that is most suitable for you.  If sending by sea, your belongings will share container space with other shipments bound for the same destination.  The typical delivery times are around 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the destination.  If sending by air, typical delivery is between 7 to 14 days.  We also offer a faster Courier Service, which can be more cost effective for smaller shipments.

  • Yes, shipping protection is available at an additional charge.  Of course we take every precaution to protect your possessions while they are in our care.  Nevertheless, we recommend that you cover your goods for a sum equivalent to replacement value at destination.

  • Following the collection of your shipment you will receive a shipping confirmation email with details of vessel/airline, container identification number, estimated date of arrival at the destination port or airport, and details of our local agent.

  • Consignments paid to arrival port or airport will incur additional costs for customs clearance, handling charges, and other charges if applicable. With our economical prices, it is generally more cost-effective to use our door-to-door service for delivery.
